IMPORTANT: AUTO-RENEWAL NOTICE
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for recurring fees until you cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

Crystals Are Real USDC — You Own Them
"Crystals" is a display name for USDC (USD Coin) held in your self-custodied wallet on the Base blockchain. 100 Crystals = $1.00 USDC. Crystals have real monetary value because they are USDC. By using Crystals, you acknowledge and agree:
IMPORTANT: STARDUST IS A VIRTUAL CURRENCY WITH NO REAL-WORLD VALUE
"Stardust" is a platform-managed virtual currency used for micro-interactions within Chatalystar.100 Stardust = 1 Crystal ($1.00 USDC). Stardust is purchased by converting Crystals/USDC through an on-chain transfer to the Platform. By purchasing or using Stardust, you acknowledge and agree:
We reserve the right to modify Stardust pricing, earning rates, and spending values at any time. Changes apply prospectively to future transactions and do not affect previously purchased Stardust.
For the avoidance of doubt: your Crystal/USDC balance in your self-custodied wallet remains your property at all times. The Platform does not claim ownership of, or any lien on, your USDC holdings. Account termination does not affect USDC held in your non-custodial wallet — those funds remain accessible to you via your private key regardless of your account status with the Platform.
CRYPTOCURRENCY RISK DISCLOSURE

Chatalystar Does Not Hold, Custody, or Control Your Funds
Chatalystar operates a non-custodial model. We do not hold, custody, manage, or have access to your cryptocurrency funds at any time. Your wallet and its contents are controlled exclusively by you through your private key. Chatalystar is not a bank, financial institution, money services business, or custodian.
You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling your tax obligations arising from cryptocurrency transactions conducted through the platform, including but not limited to:

You retain ownership of content you create on the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content as necessary to operate and improve the Service.
Content generated by AI characters in response to your interactions is created by our systems. Such content is provided for personal, non-commercial use within the platform.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. AI-GENERATED RESPONSES MAY BE INACCURATE OR INAPPROPRIATE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHATALYSTAR AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chatalystar and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through account settings.

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@chatalystar.com to attempt informal resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving your notice.
If informal resolution fails, you and Chatalystar agree to resolve any disputes through final and binding arbitration instead of in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify.
YOU AND CHATALYSTAR AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@chatalystar.com within 30 days of creating your account. Your notice must include your name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of the arbitration agreement.
This arbitration agreement does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in court for intellectual property disputes or unauthorized access to the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chatalystar operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms and revising the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

Chatalystar respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. All original content on our platform—including AI character designs, personas, backstories, artwork, logos, and platform features—is protected by copyright and owned by Chatalystar Inc. or its licensors.
