Content Complaints & Reporting

Please report any content on Chatalystar that you believe involves any of the following:

• Any sexual or suggestive depiction of a person under 18 (CSAM);
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including content shared without the subject's consent or in violation of an agreement to keep it private;
• Content or conduct involving trafficking, coercion, sexual exploitation, prostitution recruitment, escort solicitation, or compensated in-person sexual activity; use the dedicated Trust & Safety report form;
• Content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent, including impersonation or non-consensual deepfakes;
• Content that violates our Content Policy or Community Guidelines; and
• Any other content you reasonably believe is illegal under applicable law.

For copyright concerns, please use our DMCA process instead, which has its own statutory requirements.

You may report content by:

• Using the in-platform Report control on the content in question (preferred for the fastest triage);
• Emailing abuse@chatalystar.com with the details below; or
• For legal correspondence requiring a Custodian of Records or formal notice, emailing legal@chatalystar.com.

To help us respond quickly and accurately, please include:

• The URL or in-app location of the content;
• A short description of the issue and the policy or law you believe applies;
• If you are the depicted person or their authorized representative, an indication of that fact, a non-government description that lets us identify the claimant and depicted person, and a description of your authority where applicable. Government ID is not required by the intake form;
• Any supporting evidence (screenshots, prior takedown requests, etc.); and
• A contact email so we can follow up if needed.

Depending on the result of our review, possible outcomes include:

• Removal or restriction of the reported content;
• A warning, suspension, or termination of the responsible account;
• Referral to law enforcement or to NCMEC; and/or
• A determination that the content does not violate our policies or applicable law, in which case no action will be taken.

Reporters and uploaders may request reconsideration by replying to the original determination email with new facts or arguments. Appeals are reviewed within 5–7 business days, except for zero-tolerance categories (e.g., CSAM, NCII) where reinstatement is generally unavailable.

Reports submitted in bad faith, with the intent to harass, or with knowingly false information may result in restrictions on the reporter's account and, in appropriate cases, referral to law enforcement.

6. Receipt & status privacy

The form returns a tracking reference and a separate random receipt token. Keep both: the token is required for public status lookup at /trust/report. Repeated notices for the same claimant, category, and locator are consolidated into one internal case timeline. Public status never exposes evidence, uploader identity, contact details, or storage paths.
