Blockchain-Secured Identity Verification
At Chatalystar, we believe in radical transparency when it comes to creator authenticity. Creator publishing is gated by a third-party identity and age-verification flow. This is evidence about the creator account and the verification event; it is not proof that every depicted person is the creator or that every depiction is consented.
This isn't just compliance - it's our commitment to building a platform where users can trust that the creators they engage with are exactly who they say they are.
Every creator submits government-issued ID through Veriff, an industry-leading identity verification provider trusted by banks and major platforms worldwide. This confirms their legal identity and proves they are 21 years or older.
Learn about VeriffWhere the verification flow creates an on-chain attestation, we publish a cryptographic hash of the verification record to the Base blockchain (Ethereum L2). This creates a timestamped integrity signal that cannot be edited on-chain; it does not make the underlying identity or consent claim public.
We never store personal data on-chain - only a secure hash that proves verification occurred.
Some verification records expose a cryptographic proof that the verification event was anchored. The proof is not a universal public directory and does not independently prove ongoing identity, authenticity of every work, or consent.
Stars who are approved to publish have completed the applicable creator identity and age flow.

Our platform features Stars (real, Veriff-verified human creators), Muses (the platform's original fictional AI characters), and Simulated Presence (a Star's consenting AI persona that responds on their behalf when they're offline). All AI messages — whether from a Muse or a Simulated Presence — are clearly labeled in chat, so you always know whether you're interacting with AI or a real person.
Members and creators each have their own private self-custody wallet. Members fund their wallet and send payments directly to a creator's wallet on-chain in USDC on Base. Creators keep 100% of the listed price; members pay an additional 5% platform contribution fee at checkout. Chatalystar never custodies user funds.
